THREE GENERATIONS REUNITED AROUND THE GRAVE OF HANNAH (died 30 August 1852 aged 68) and GEORGE HEARNSHAW (died 19 Feb 1862 aged 78).

We were contacted by two different sides of descendants of the Hearnshaw family, who met for the first time on Heritage Open Day 2017 at the grave of their ancestors.  They sent us nine pages of carefully researched family history which is condensed below.

Robert Hearnshaw 1642 b North Wingfield. He had 3 sons born between 1660 and 1668.

George 1666 - 1738 was the second son of Robert and was born in North Wingfield. In 1770 he married Elizabeth in Shirland near Chesterfield.  They had 6 children.
